Familiar Faces...

In addition to traversing all over eastern Europe this past month, I've had quite a bit of company visiting me in London (a lot in fact!) - it's been amazing to share my love for this city with those who come visit. And, it's been equally as much fun, just to spend time with people I love and miss. I've had Lars & Shannon (my favourite newlyweds from Seattle), Brian and Shelby (old friends from the shoug!), Dixie (the best damn hair dresser in the world - and a true, true friend), Jill & Kevin (two people I admire and love that I worked with at MS), and Mercedes (a colleague, and now a friend - there are so many new sides I have seen and come to adore of her these past few weeks).

Tomorrow, Paul comes to visit for 10 days! I haven't seen my brother in over 9 months and I am delighted, teary, and a bit nervous. There is so very much to share with him of my life in London. Paul and I spend four days here, and then I am off on holidays for the rest of September. We will be traveling the north coast of Ireland and the northern coasts of Italy. The trip promises to be memorable, and full of lots of QT time for the two of us. When we arrive back to London, Jamie and Jenn will be here waiting, and another round of catching up will begin. I am guessing there will be a lot of long nights of deep conversation during the last bits of summer.
