And so, a new era begins...

After much ado, lots of running, talking through, thinking, talking through, running again, thinking more, I've finally made a decision... As of last Monday, I requested a transfer to the London Accenture office. The wheels have already begun to turn.

This means...
- I will live in the UK for at least 2 more years
- I will have many more adventures in Europe (am heading skiing in Switzerland tomorrow morning!)
- I will take more vacations to come back home and enjoy my family!
- I will hunt and find a low cost apartment somewhere in the city - where real people live
- I won't have to double the price every time I go buy a pair of shoes!
- I will require more care packages from home (Tostitos, anything Trader Joes, cinammon gum...)

It also means...
- I will get more diligent about letting you all know how much I love you
- I will call home, even when I have only 2 mins to say hi
- I will make appointments to have a long hour on the phone when I really miss you
- I will make plans to have you all come visit again and badger those of you who've already been to come back!
- I will drink more wine and eat more cheese
- I will become a connoisseur of chocolate
- I will run London (to work off all the wine, cheese, and chocolate!)
- I may actually start to develop that accent you all feel I had at Christmas

and I will back in the US before you know it...

It feels good to have the decision made, the weight lifted, and clarity around a vision for the next few years of life. I do hope, that if you haven't had a chance to come visit, I will see you all soon.
