Getting Away From It All...

This past month has been perhaps the most manic of my entire life. My job, while at an all time high, combined with the realities of a country-transfer (new bank account, moving, taxes, paperwork, healthcare), training for marathon training, and just plain trying to live... has led to an all-time new level of busyness for me, and one I am trying to conquer.

And so, in order to get away from it all, I took a short holiday this Easter with my friend Marlise. We flew to Portugal - with a focus on sunshine and slowing down. And, although while the weekend wil not fix the realities of this manic life, we did manage sunshine, laughter, relaxation, and learning how to give a proper Portuguese Schmackdown!
