It's that time of year again...

I have no idea where the year has gone. It's December, and I am in disbelief. Not only am I not ready for Christmas, I am not sure I am ready for 2007. I can remember clearly Dec 31, 1999... I was playing Scrabble in a house in Kent, waiting for the Millenium. What a world away.

It's Saturday afternoon here in London and I am sitting at my kitchen table, putting up Christmas decorations today, and making soup stock for a new recipe - brandied apple and blue stilton soup. Yum.

I suppose the 7 years have gone by in moments just like this, with the music on, a cup of coffee in front of me, and a smile on my face. I am a lucky woman, with a busy life (busier than I would like sometimes, but I still wouldn't change a thing - and so I don't). I have been meaning to blog for about a month now, but seem to run out of time. I hate being on my computer when I am out of work.
