It's still the same old me...
Hi all,
I write this blog with a huge grin on my face... I've spent the last 20 days travelling Europe with my brother Paul, and enjoying London with Jamie and Jenn - two of my best friends from childhood. My time with each of them has been indescribable. I have been moved to tears almost daily... from big moments of seeing a new country for the first time, to simple conversations where our hearts spilled out over a bottle of wine... this September will be a truly unforgettable one.
With Paul - I realized how much a brother can be a best friend. How much I admire the one who walks before me, challenges me, smiles at me, encourages me along, and pinches me when I am not looking. He really is a pain in the ass! We laughed, we talked, and we sat for hours in happy silence driving around the cliffs of Moher (Ireland) and the hills of Tuscany (Italy). As a sister, I could not be more content.
With Jamie - A friend I have known for 15 years, but has been in my heart forever. A pure heart whos eyes tell a story in her soul that everyone should be so lucky to know. She is a truly a kind and amazing person. The kind that makes you feel better just being around her.
With Jenn - A true friendship, that has long been pushed out of the daily routine of life, but that lives unchanged and grows with abundance and realization. There is just something about my friend Jenn, a lovely stubborn, beautiful and knowing soul that I would not be the same without.
These past 20 days were not just holidays. There were days I will never forget - they were laughter, tears, truth serums, joy, amazement, love and friendship, but mostly - they were sharing the world through each other's eyes.
I think the sights, pictures, people and smiles will tell the story better than I ever could.
Until the next time!
Suzy
